Long distance is provided by AT&T. All family members and renters are expected to reimburse the phone account for long distance calls.
There are five phones in the house: 1) kitchen, 2) living room, 3) screened-in porch, 4) office/den [portable], and 5) master bedroom
Lifeline is currently disconnected, though it can be re-connected on a temporary basis for the times when Aunt Dorry visits overnight. When the ham radio is in use, the light on the Lifeline box blinks, even when Lifeline is not in service. If the unit is unplugged to prevent the blinking, remember to re-plug it afterward.
